How to make instant Punjabi Jeera Aloo ?
Boil Potatoes , peel and cut into small cubes and keep aside.Heat oil in a non stick pan and add cumin seeds, dry red chilies, hing and wait till they sizzle. Now add chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder in the oil and saute the mix for few seconds. Add in the chopped potatoes and combine till everything incorporates well. Season with salt and amchur and fry for another couple of minutes till potatoes stop sticking with each other. If you don’t have amchur then you can add lemon juice instead. Turn off the stove and add freshly chopped green coriander and mix well. Serve hot with fluffy puris and a glass of lassi.
