HOW TO MAKE MAKHANA KHEER IN INSTACOOK

Turn on Borosil Instacook Electric Pressure Cooker and press SAUTE button. Add ghee into the  pot and heat. Now add makhanas (lotus seed) and roast until crisp. Collect 1/2 portion in a bowl and crush coarsely by pulsing them in a blender 1-2 times. Add milk into the pot with remaining roasted Makhanas along with sugar, chopped nuts and saffron. Stir until sugar dissolves and milk comes to a boil. Close the lid. Set the pot to RICE MODE (Medium Texture). It will cook in Auto selected time. Once the electric cooker beeps, the cooking is done. Let it release pressure naturally. Open lid and add coarsely ground Makhana with cardamom powder. Press SAUTE button and  cook with lid open until kheer thickens a bit and turns creamy. Garnish and Serve warm or cold.
