Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake

Weekend be like! A healthy weekend keeps you energetic through out the coming week. Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake is my take on a super filling beverage that keeps me happy all day. A simple recipe that is dear to my family and my kid loves having it almost daily. It’s good for growing kids and contains the goodness of milk, banana, dates and peanut. Easy to make and gets ready in no time with handful of ingredients.

To make this silly, creamy, frothy peanut butter shake take any chocolate syrup and gently pour on the inner side of the rim of the serving glass and keep in the refrigerator to cool and set. In a tall jar, add milk, chopped banana, cocoa powder, pitted dates and peanut butter. Blend until smooth and frothy. Take the glass out from the fridge and fill with the shake till rim. Add some chocolate syrup on top making a swirl as a garnish and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

 

Pointers :

  • You can add crushed ice into the glass before filling it with the shake to serve chilled.
  • Replace dates with sugar or honey as per your sweetness requirements.
  • If you don't have cocoa powder, use any milk chocolate or even chocolate syrup.
  • Skip adding chocolate or cocoa powder if you want to keep it plain.
  • Vegans can use Almond Milk or Soy Milk.
