The month of Ramadan and Eid is comes with various mouth watering preparations where one can indulge into delicious mutton and chicken dishes. Tamatar Gosht is one such easy mutton curry that can be made in a jiffy and is a mouth watering option specially if you have sudden guests at home. Slight tangy curry that comes with tomatoes is teemed up with mutton pieces and is a cooker recipe. Hardly takes an hour to cook and goes best when served with plain steamed rice.
I personally love all kinds of cooker recipes, they are simply hassle free and gives me some extra time to focus on other things while cooking. Tamatar Gosht is one of them, it’s easy, aromatic, and simply irresistible. With every whistle the house starts filling up with the aroma of exotic spices used is making this very delectable mutton curry. I personally keep the dry garam masala reserved for vegetables and veg curries, and when it comes to non-veg, i love soaking the whole spices and grinding them in sil-batta. In a rush i sometimes use my grinder as well, that exotic aroma of ground spices is a bliss! We Muslims use curd for almost all our non veg preparations, but Tamatar Gosht is an exception as it is substituted with tomatoes hence the flavors are slight different from our regular mutton curries.
