Sunshine – Orange and Mango Punch

by Shaheen Ali

Monsoon has struck in most of the cities but still the weather seems to be very humid. Evenings are cool but afternoons certainly make one dehydrated. This is when you need a cool and refreshing drink that can give life back to your dry lips and dehydrated body. Its mangoes flooding the market and what better it can be to incorporate it with orange and lemonade!

So the drink of the day is – SUNSHINE (Orange Mango Lemonade Punch)

I made the concentrate with fresh fruits. Though the drink can be made with canned juices too but i preferred using fresh fruits. Recently came across this recipe on net and i immediately decided to try it for evening Iftaari. The recipe is adapted from http://www.babylovingmama.com/2014/06/refreshing-orange-mango-lemonade-punch-recipe.html where the chef has used canned juices. The recipe idea is taken from the given link but i made certain variations to it as i were using fresh fruits.

Recipe Notes

Note :

If you don't have lemonade at home or lemons to make lemonade, you may directly use any lime soda like Limca etc to the concentrate.

You can use ready made juices to make the concentrate. But avoid it because it contains high amount of preservatives. Try using fresh fruits if you urge to have a good health.
