Fresh Fruit Salad With Creamy Custard Sauce

by Shaheen Ali

These days it’s becoming a tough task to make your children eat fruits and drink milk. I struggle a lot with my son to feed him with fruits. The only fruit that my son loves to have is banana. But excess intake of banana often cause cough n cold to him that again becomes a new problem to solve. Fruits are very important part of our daily diet. Doctors and dieticians too suggest having lots of fruits in a day to improve our immunity system.

After a long long struggle i finally figured out that my son is fond of custard a lot. This is when i got an idea to add lots of fruits along with custard and feed him…and yes! it worked. These days i make fruits salad and drizzle thick and creamy custard sauce all over the fruits ad serve to my boy. He not just enjoys the custard but also finish off the fruits along with it.

Okay, here i added only three fruits, that is banana, apple and pomegranate. But this is not the only option you have. You can add as many fruits as you want. Whenever i have guests at home and i have to serve this, i prefer adding grapes and mangoes too. The more…the merrier!

The process of making it easy and it can be made in a jiffy. You can use any good brand of custard powder and of any flavor. I used Wickfield vanilla flavor.
