Instructions
  1. Break egg in a bowl and whisk till its white and frothy . Keep aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add flour, cornflour, salt and whisked egg and combine together with a fork.
  3. Slowly add cold water and knead to make a smooth dough.
  4. Cover the prepared dough with a cling wrap and let it stand for an hour.
  5. Now pinch a small lemon sized ball from the dough and roll on a dusted counter to make a thin round sheet. You can also make a big sheet from the entire dough ball (as thin as possible) and then cut into round or squares shapes with a cutter. Choice is yours.
  6. Let the sheets sit uncovered for 10 minutes so that they dry. Flip them and again make them sit for 10 minutes to dry the other side as well.
  7. Cut 40 round or square pieces of butter paper and place them in between the prepared sheets and stack them alternately such that every sheet has a butter paper in between.
  8. Zip lock the stack and store them in refrigerator. You spring roll wrappers or sheets are ready to use whenever you want to make delicious snacks.
Recipe Notes

Prepared spring roll sheets are ideal for deep frying, air frying, baking, steaming etc. The recipe contains egg, for eggless version do visit Ruchi’s Kitchen
