Paneer 65 … a perfect starter for any occasion. Comes under Hyderabadi Cuisine and has prominent Chettinad flavors that make it absolutely scrumptious. The recipe is quick and home style paneer 65 is way better than those what we get in food joints. Another very famous substitute for the non vegetarians is Chicken 65. The marination process is exactly the same in both. Paneer 65 is commonly a starter or you may…

Paneer aka Cottage cheese , the most popular cheese segment adapted in Indian homes. In India, paneer has it’s own significance, often cooked to celebrate happiness. Paneer is supposed to be a food of rich people. Still in my house, i see my mother making paneer dishes on every special occasion. Whether it’s guest arriving or any festival, a delicacy of paneer is a must at our home. I remember the first thing my son loved after he started eating solid food, was paneer. These days we get various kinds of processed cottage cheese , even with different flavors and…

Treat your tummy with an absolute melt in mouth paneer kofta dunked in a rich creamy badami gravy. I had the pleasure of eating this royal treat in a near by restaurant few days back. The badami gravy is not just rich but also provides a amazing flavor ride to your palate. Basically the recipe comes under Awadhi Cusine and is quite close to Malai Kofta. The paneer kofta recipe resembles to malai kofta a lot but the gravy makes a huge difference when it comes to taste. The royal gravy has a smooth texture but along with that it…

The word Satay is a modern Indonesian and Malay spelling of Sate , a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, beef, pork, fish, other meats, or tofu/ paneer; the more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond, although bamboo skewers are often used. With paneer in hand i opted to go for a Korean Paneer Satay in which there is a wide use of basil in the peanut sauce that not just gives an aroma to the dish but even…

I have always been fascinated by the richness of Mughlai food. The use of milk, cream, dry fruits is just so perfect to enhance the taste of any cuisine.. even if it is a humble Aloo / Potato. The word Nawaabi itself defines royalty and richness. And if its a Nawaabi Aloo then one can easily imagine how royal the dish must be…with hell lot of ingredients …. right? Well the dish i made today is indeed rich but i tried to keep is as simple as i can. The ingredients used are easily available at home and the blend…

Here falls a holiday again…! My cooking took a fancy turn again to please my son amd make his holiday worth. Presenting Paneer Malai Tikka with Cream Dip , Sauce , lil salad and accompanied by Jeweled Dark Chocolate Cake and Hot Chocolate Drink. Normally the Paneer Tikka is grilled in microwave but sometime i found that after grilling the tikkas use to get tight. So this time i opted to shallow roast them in a non stick tawa. The outer crust became crisp and the softness of the paneer inside kept intact.

Usually Malai Kofta is all about Paneer koftas stuffed with dry fruits and cream. But i thought of adding a lil twist in the koftas specially. Had few peas, one cauliflower and some beans left in my fridge. So just added them in the koftas to make it more rich. Interesting..? Malai kofta is ready to be served. Serve hot with Butter Naan or Tandoori Roti.
