I have always been wondering why do left overs taste more delicious than the fresh ones…lol Whether it’s Biryani, Kheer or any other food. Left overs are something that has always tingled my taste buds. I have kept myself into a practice of recycling the food left in the fridge, next day. I use the veggies to stuff in parathas or make sandwiches. The dal is often dried n stuffed in parathas. In short i love to re use the left food rather than throwing it into the dustbin (which is actually not good). One of my favorite breakfast is…

I have always been fascinated by the richness of Mughlai food. The use of milk, cream, dry fruits is just so perfect to enhance the taste of any cuisine.. even if it is a humble Aloo / Potato. The word Nawaabi itself defines royalty and richness. And if its a Nawaabi Aloo then one can easily imagine how royal the dish must be…with hell lot of ingredients …. right? Well the dish i made today is indeed rich but i tried to keep is as simple as i can. The ingredients used are easily available at home and the blend…

In my family celebration is all about having Biryani. In any occasion, a good Biryani is always the show stopper. Usually i make varieties of Biryani following my mom’s and grandmom’s recipes but today again for a change i tried making by following the recipe of master chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

Gobhi / Cauliflower is the alone vegetable that makes my meal complete. Today as i skipped my lunch and was hungry late evening, i just thought to spice up my high tea with Chilli Gobhi. Cauliflower florets cooked with an oriental tang. Though it goes best with Noodles or Fried rice, i decided to have it as a snack….lol

Few days back i made Chill-o-Melt Bonanza n Pan cakes for my son. Just revised both the recipes again n innovated The Whole Wheat Spinacho-Egg Pan Cake. Though pan cakes are made with all purpose flour but to make it more healthier i chose to opt wheat flour. Easy n a quick fix recipe again to make ur breakkie tasty, healthy and completely filling. Usually Malai Kofta is all about Paneer koftas stuffed with dry fruits and cream. But i thought of adding a lil twist in the koftas specially. Had few peas, one cauliflower and some beans left in my fridge. So just added them in the koftas to make it more rich. Interesting..? Malai kofta is ready to be served. Serve hot with Butter Naan or Tandoori Roti.

Mutter Ki kachori happens to be the most favorite North Indian snack during the winters. Unlike those regular lentil and spice stuffed kachoris, the mutter kachori is filled with a spicy green pea filling and is served with tangy tamarind chutney and also with bedmi aloo ki sabzi at various places in North India. If you liked this Indian snack recipe, then try making it at home and share your feedback with me in comments below 🙂

Perfect anytime munching snack. Something that not only children love but also a favorite of many adults. Pasta comes from Italy and here in India we adapted it well n even transformed it into various fusions as per our choice of taste. Penne Pasta the cylindrical one is one of my favorite type. Chilli Garlic Creme Penne is simple and easy to cook. I ate this first at a road side food joint in Bhopal n fell in love with the creamy taste of it.
