TAWA PANEER MASALA
Instructions
Heat oil in a tawa and add whole red chillies and cumin. Allow it to splutter.
Add grated ginger and fry till the raw smell goes off.
Add finely chopped onions and fry evenly till they turn golden.
While the onions fry, puree the tomatoes in a mixer.
As the onions turn golden, add tomato puree and stir well.
Fry until the tomato puree thickens and the raw smell goes off.
Add capsicum, diced onion, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix and fry the masala for about 2 minutes.
Add paneer and kasuri methi. Stir well.(i shallow fried the paneer before use)
Add very little water to adjust the consistency as per your taste.
Allow it to cook for few minutes for the gravy to thicken.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
