  1. Soak moong dal for minimum 2 hours. Strain water and keep dal aside.
  2. In a bowl, add finely chopped cucumber,soaked moong dal, green chilies,grated coconut, coriander, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and mustard seeds, wait till they splutter and then add the tempering to the salad bowl.
  4. Mix everything well and serve cold along side with sabzi, dal. roti and rice.
