  • 1 Bread loaf
  • 1 cup Sugar – (more/less per taste)
  • 1.5 cups Milk (preferably ‘whole’)
  • 4 tbs Cream
  • 1 Butter Ghee stick Clarified
  • 1/2 tsp Elaichi Cardamon / powder
  • Raisins Almonds Cashew , and for garnishing

  • 1 Bread loaf
  • 1 cup Sugar – (more/less per taste)
  • 1.5 cups Milk (preferably ‘whole’)
  • 4 tbs Cream
  • 1 Butter Ghee stick Clarified
  • 1/2 tsp Elaichi Cardamon / powder
  • Raisins Almonds Cashew , and for garnishing
Instructions
  1. 1. Soak bread slices in whole milk and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet and melt 1 stick of butter add cardamon and soaked bread.
  3. Cook until its light brown add 1 cup sugar and cream cook for approximately 10 minutes until it become mushy.
  4. Heat 1 tbs of ghee and roast the cashews and raisins.
  5. Pour on top of the halwa and Sprinkle cardamom powder.
  6. Allow it to cool. Can be served hot or cold.
