Instructions
  1. Mix water and sugar in a pan and heat till sugar dissolves.
  2. Heat ghee in separate pan, add flour , semolina and roast till dark brown in color. Semolina is added to give a nutty texture but if you are using coarsely ground flour then you can skip semolina.
  3. Now carefully pour in the hot sugar water mix and keep stirring continuously to avoid forming lumps.
  4. Keep stirring till the ghee starts leaving sides and the halwa folds in smoothly.
  5. Turn off the gas and serve hot or warm as your kada prasad is ready to serve.
