  1. Take apple cider in a sauce pan and boil it. Now add tea leafs and simmer the flame for 5 mins.
  2. As soon as the tea leafs start leaving color, add cinnamon sticks, cloves and minced ginger. Boil for another 5 mins.
  3. Add lemon juice and stir well. U can also directly put lemon wedges into it.
  4. Turn off the flame and serve the toddy hot with cinnamon and star anise as garnishing.
Recipe Notes

It is believed that having a cup of toddy gives relief from extreme cold and cough. For better results add rum/whisky or brandy for making toddy.
