Tawa Paneer Masala

by Shaheen Ali

Tawa Paneer Masala is a blessing to all those mom whose children come up with a sudden demand of paneer without even giving enough time to cook. Something that can be made in a jiffy and kids will get a chance to intake paneer along with some veggies too.

It can be made in a Tawa (as the name suggests) as well as in a kadhai too, depending on the availability of the utensil. Tawa paneer masala is one of the quick side dishes to accompany roti or rice and takes merely 15-20mins to prepare.

The recipe of  tawa paneer masala is kept very simple and can be made in a jiffy. It is made with basic ingredients that are anytime available at home and with just one tbsp. oil. This recipe has been adapted roughly from Sanjeev kapoor’s recipe of babycorn, capsicum and paneer masala. So you can try using your favorite veggies like baby corn, capsicum or mushroom etc. In this recipe i have used tomato puree which is also used to speed up the process of cooking tomatoes which would take a little longer otherwise. So if you do not want to puree the tomatoes you can add them chopped. The consistency of the masala/gravy can be regulated as per ur requirement. I opted for a semi liquid gravy so that my son can easily enjoy it with rice.
