Mango Yogurt Parfait

by Shaheen Ali

No Sunday meal is complete without a dessert in hand. And when it’s summers the dessert has to be a chilled and refreshing one. Well like my family quotes, I am a dessert girl! For every good or bad reason I need dessert in mouth Even my blog has a huge collection of sweets & desserts , so now you have enough reasons to agree with my family Indian desserts are all about lot of sugar, exotic flavors like saffron cardamom etc, deep dried (mostly) , lot of ghee butter etc…. phewww! But there are a couple of healthy desserts as well. So on a note to be on a healthy diet, i am now gradually adapting all healthy recipes for myself including sweets and desserts ☺

Mango and yogurt parfait is one such step to my health trial. Fresh tropical mangoes pureed and layered with thick and creamy yogurt and garnished with mango slices is outrageously delicious , filling and absolutely healthy. The recipe requires handful of ingredients and gets prepared in no time.

So just put on your kitchen apron and wear you chef cap because this recipe is certainly going to let you earn laurels and make you a Master Chef in your own house.
