A name that needs no introduction, yet it gives me immense pleasure and happiness to welcome my childhood bestie and my partner in crime in our school day, the very vivacious, the extremely talented, chatter box, witty, naughty, lively, the very famous travelogue owner and one of the biggest foodie i have ever known…. Ayandrali Dutta on Spoon Fork And Food. This Bong beauty is from Kolkata, brought up jin the steel city of Rourkella, Odisa and now living independently in the capital city Delhi. I have been knowing Andy through ages, though we didn’t completed our school together, but whatever less or more time we spent together in our childhood is cherished and treasured in our hearts. Today Ayandrali is a successful in her own field of work and the most amazing fact about her that makes her different from others is that she is passionate, following her dreams and living life to it’s fullest. The high headed girl is today one of the most renowned travel blogger and an excellent host when it comes to food celebrations. Recently i had a chit chat session with Andy and today it’s an honor for me to feature my dearest friend on my blog.

So let us see what Ayandrali has to share with us …

  1. Tell us about yourself Ayandrali, your family, childhood and education ?

Childhood was pretty exciting – eating dancing and happily singing myself to glory as I would
love to sum it up. Single child – can say pampered but not spoilt, and being born and brought up
in a nuclear family, life was pretty happy go lucky. Parents who loved travelling also allowed me
to see many beautiful places at a very young age.

  1. Well you are one the most successful travel bloggers we have in our country , so tell us something about your blog and how did this blogging happened to you ?

My blog primarily is about travel – wanderlustcraving. Focusing on small
hidden pockets that travelers can explore is what I focus on. My idea of blogging is a way to
document my memories and read them on some rainy days and feel happy about it. All in the
process to document experiences I ended up starting a blog.

  1. Other than a blogger & traveler , people also know you as a die heart foodie. So tell us more about it
    ?

Food is something that I live for. Fresh spices, aromas and newness on a plate excite me. Also
lucky that my profession helps me to keep updated with the new creations that the food scene is
seeing every day. Having a sharp tongue ( read to know the flavours right) helped me play in my
kitchen which is de-stress area. A loaded plate with full surprises always excite me.

  1. What does cooking really mean to you and who was your inspirational source ?

Cooking is my biggest de-stresser. Being a bong I have seen the lunch table being the center stage
of all activities. It was a big affair as to what for lunch and Sundays were no less than a party.
Having a Mom who is so passionate about taking care what everyone wants made me become
much demanding and yes I was never let down. And back in Kolkata it was my grandmom’s who
took care of the nitty gritty of cooking to pamper me. So I owe both to my mom and the
grandmom’s.

  1. If given a chance, would you step into food blogging?

Well food is an experience for me, I would like to feel and know it. Not much keen on penning
down. But who knows may be someday.

  1. Tell us something about your struggles/ high points/ accolades / recognition in this
    journey ?

Well, thankfully struggles were not much, but yes friends were always there to shared my happy
moments and even critically praise me. My biggest high point ws starting my home food pop-ups
with Commeat- a community for food enthusiasts to explore locale and its cuisine in an all-
together new way, which gave me a chance to give the world a taste of my culinary skills and let
me meet many happy enthusiast flavor lovers.
It feels great when people conncet to your name or the dishes you cooked or the story you wrote.

Every little smile counts for me.

  1. Any tips/ suggestions you would like to pass on to all the new and aspiring bloggers?

Just be original, a copy will never reach the peak!
