Caramalized Onion & Roasted Garlic Pasta

Italian food is the most developed cuisine through centuries. It is characterized by it’s simplicity as many of its dishes have hardly 4-8 ingredients. In Italian food, cheese and wine are the major part of the dishes. Olive oil is the most commonly used vegetable fat in Italian cooking, and as the basis for sauces, often replaces animal fats of butter.


Pasta happens to be one of the most popular Italian food that has spread across the world widely. Coming in different size and shapes, pasta as today’s generation’s most favorite food. Caramelized onion and Roasted pasta is one of the most delectable recipe i have tasted in recent times. It requires a handful of ingredients and gets ready in no time. Easy and comes with a burst of flavor with an exotic aroma of caramelized onions and roasted garlic. This pasta recipe is strongly recommended by me for your weekend brunch parties and also for your kids.

Instructions
  1. Boil and strain Del Monte spiral pasta and keep aside in a colander.
  2. Chop onions and caramelize them. Collect and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan roast garlic pods and collect in a bowl.
  4. Heat olive oil in a wok and add caramelized onion (leave some for garnish) and roasted onion, boiled spiral pasta and saute for a while.
  5. Now add whisked fresh cream and mix well.
  6. Adjust salt and season with crushed pepper and dry basil and mix.
  7. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously ad serve.
