Schezwan Fried Rice

Fried rice is a common staple in Chinese cuisine. Can be made with fresh cooked rice or can even be made by recycling the left over rice. Fried rice has many variations, In America the fried rice has dominating flavors of pepper and herbs where as the Chinese fried has has Schezwan flavor to it. Loaded with the goodness of Spring onions and lots of chopped veggies, fried rice can be any day considered as a one pot meal. It can be accompanied by Veg Manchurian, Mushroom Manchurian or any other side dish you prefer. Can be made in a jiffy and an ideal weekend meal option for all the Chinese food lovers.

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a wok and add chopped garlic and saute it for few seconds.
  2. Add onions and the chopped vegetables and stir fry and toss till they are equally cooked.
  3. Now add schezwan sauce and mix with the stir fried vegetables till everything incorporates well.
  4. Now add the cooked rice and and mix and toss it with vegetables gently.
  5. Add in salt and season it with pepper and vinegar and give a quick toss again.
  6. Garnish the schezwan fried rice with finely chopped spring onion greens and serve hot with Manchurian or any of your favorite Chinese gravy.
