Raita is the most loved side dish in Indian meals. In India every region serves you a variety of Raita with different digestive properties. One of the most popular raita served in Restaurants is Mix Fruit Raita. Thick and creamy yogurt flavored with mild sweet and tangy spice mix is loaded with various mix fruit chunks like Pineapple, Apple, Pomegranate etc. This gorgeous looking Raita tastes best when served with Vegtable Biryani or Pilaf. Indian Restaurants mostly use pineapple, apple and pomegranate in their recipe bt you can create your version and kiwi, grapes etc. It totally depends on one’s preference. As the dish looks colorful it’s loved by children as well. So next time when you have guests at home, try making this Mix Fruit Raita and show off your cooking skills by making then go through a Restaurant style fine dinning experience.

To make this easy Restaurant Style Mix Fruit Raita all you need is some handful of ingredients that are mostly available at homes. I prefer using fresh fruits but you can also use canned fruits and skip adding sugar as they are already sweet because of the syrup. Take fresh thick yogurt in a large mixing bowl and add sugar. Whisk till thick and creamy. Don’t add water to the curd or yogurt because Mix Fruit Raita is usually served thick and creamy. Add fruit chunks and pomegranate pearls along with pinch of chaat masala and fold in gently. Garnish with some fresh chopped mint and coriander leaves and serve cold. Mix fruit raita goes best with Vegetable Pilaf or Veg Biryani.
