My workout regime has came to me as a blessing because ever since i started living a healthy life. i’m being gifted with various healthy munching option by brands and companies who are into reviving ancient Indian recipes that are adapted from our Grand mom’s time and given a healthy twist. Now isn’t this amazing! One such fantastic brand i came across recently is Nutty Yogi

Just a day before Holi, the festival of colors celebrated by Indians all across the globe, my door belled and i receive a huge bag full of goodies. A hamper well packed and arranged contained a bunch of nutritional snacks , jams, pickle and some amazing munchies. Now what best could i have asked for! Where the whole world was busy indulging themselves into the Holi sweets and savories, i was sitting back and enjoying my platter of wellness and good health.

What is Nutty Yogi : The inspiration of Nutty Yogi really started in their grandmothers kitchen. They remain inspired by her nose for freshness and an uncanny ability to spot the best ingredients. At Nutty Yogi their commitment to good and wholesome food takes them on a vast journey across India . A journey that begins in the farmers fields of India and ends on our table . But the true origins lie in the pages of their grandmothers cookbooks and her old-fashioned recipes that preserve nutrition without compromising taste. At Nutty Yogi they believe that Backward is the new Forward when it comes to food. They go back in time to preserve the good old fashioned goodness and nutrients in the way it was meant to be but add the dash of convenience in the way its meant to be eaten today. With their world wide varieties of staples, snacks, condiments, super foods, they are committed to serving us a truly amazing array that makes every meal nutritious our grandmother would approve of. It’s really going back to basics. After all Nutrition is our only tradition.
They are Nutty about offering us delicious food and finding our inner Yogi by eating right!

Today i’ll be reviewing the Multigrain Cheela Mix. Nutty Yogi Multigrain Cheela mix is made of multiple grains inspired from authentic thalipeath from land of Maratha. Made from Bajra, Wheat, Rice flour, Poha, and Spices, it is a healthy breakfast option with amazing taste. Made with all natural ingredients : Wheat flour 24%, Bajra 12%, Rice Flour 12%, Besan 12%, Poha 6%, Ginger, Green Chilli, Coriander, Garam Masala Powder, Jeera, Ajwain, Chilli Powder, Coriander leaves, Sesame Seeds, Onion and Salt.

Key Health Benefits

  • Rich in essential compounds like phosphorous, magnesium and iron.
  • High in fiber.
  • Increases metabolism
  • Rich in Protein

Method of making Multigrain Cheela : Make batter by adding water or butter milk. Add plenty of chopped cilantro/coriander/fenugreek leaves , cumin seeds etc to enhance the taste and add some drama to the dish ( as the mix already has salt to be careful while adding additional salt in the batter). Keep aside for half an hour and make thin cheela on iron griddle serve with mint chutney or any chutney of choice or pickle. As i had Nutty Yogi’s Lotus Stem Pickle so i enjoyed my cheelas with it.

The Cheela mix comes in a zip lock packing hence after one use store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Best before 3 months from the date of packaging.
