Microwave Farafalle and Cheese Madness

For all the lazy chicks out here who doesn’t like elaborated cooking but loves to enjoy some mouth watering food that can be made in just a few minutes . .. here’s the most simplest and easiest microwave recipe for Farafelle pasta made in a mug.

Yes you heard it right, just a couple of ingredients , a mug and a microwave is all what you need to make this delectable Italian pasta that can be made in just a couple of minutes with cheese all around errupting like a volcano. Remember you can anyday replace the farafelle with any other pasta like macroni, broken spaghetti, penne etc. Have also shared the step pictures below in a collage, hope that helps you understand a little more.

Instructions
  1. Heat water in a pan and add pasta. Boil till soft and cooked.
  2. Strain water and collect the boiled pasta in a bowl and set aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, add milk and cornflour, stir and heat for 5 mins on high.
  4. Now add boiled pasta in the milk and heat for another 5 mins or till the milk absorbs.
  5. Meanwhile chop vegetables and grate cheese and keep aside.
  6. In a microwave safe cup, add handful of mozzarella cheese and some chopped vegetables.
  7. Top them with some milk soaked pasta and sprinkle some pepper powder. Again layer some mozzarella cheese and veggies and top with pasta.
  8. Prepare 2 cups following the same method.
  9. Now add plenty of shredded parmesan cheese on the top making a heap and add freshly crushed black pepper and some oregano flakes.
  10. Place the cups inside and microwave it for 3-4 mins on high.
  11. The cheese will ooze out and you will see a volcanic eruption of cheese from the cup.
  12. You can garnish it with some fresh parsley (optional) or enjoy the madness just like that.
  13. Serve hot.
