Ramadan Kareem to all my readers and friends. This year we will again be fasting during summers and this is the time when we all actually need to eat healthy and keep our self hydrated. After a day long fasting, i mostly like to indulge into cold and icy drinks that retains back my energy and make me fresh. It is always advisable to refrain yourself from oily and fried stuffs during Iftar, hence in my family we often start with fruits and chilled shakes or sharbets. Once such super awesome Ramadan drink is my all time favorite, Almond and Mango Smoothie. Quick and easy drink made with a combination of skimmed milk and low fat yogurt with the goodness of mangoes and almonds. It’s absolutely filling and extremely delicious because of its mango flavor. I must say it’s definitely a delight for all the mango lovers here.
To make this easy yet yummilicious smoothie all you need is chopped mangoes, milk, yogurt, some sugar or honey and almond meal. Collect them all in a jar and blend until smooth and creamy. Load it with plenty of crushed ice and serve chilled.

- 1 Large Mango peeled and chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup Low fat yogurt
- 2-3 tbsp Almond Meal
- 2 tbsp Sugar / Honey as per choice
- handful of Ice Cubes
- 4 Almonds chopped for garnish

- Collect milk, chopped mangoes, low fat yogurt, almond meal and sugar/honey in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add handful of crushed ice cubes and divide the smoothie equally into two glasses.
- Garnish with some chopped almonds and serve chilled.
