Kale Chane Ki Kadhi is a creamy spiced yogurt curry with black chickpea. Kadhi is a quintessential dish that belongs to various parts of India and is mostly loved in Punjab, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Kale Chane Ki Kadhi comes from North India and is typically eaten with plain steamed rice with a dollop of ghee.
Kadhi is a famous summer recipe mostly eaten with plain rice along with some accompaniments like, fryums, chips, pickles etc. Basically kadhi is easy to digest and doesn’t leave you blotted after meals. In India there are various styles, versions and recipes of making Kadhi. Almost every state has it’s own special way of making it, but the base recipe remains the same that is with yogurt and chickpea flour. Additions can be monitored and variated as per one’s choice.
