Double chocolate sugar bite cookies is one such dessert/snack which is loved by kids a lot. Loaded with the goodness of chocolate, milk and butter … the cookies are certainly a double doze of chocolate with crunchy sugar granules in every bite. If you don’t like granulated sugar in your cookies, just add castor sugar or powdered sugar 🙂
The recipe shared here is eggless but it can also be made with eggs by replacing milk and adding vanilla extract. I made this eggless because my son often carries these goodies in his tiffin and i want everyone to enjoy this yummy treat without any doubts of having eggs.

- 1.5 cups All purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 100 gms Dark chocolate compound
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 4 tbsps Cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter Melted
- 2 - 3 tbsps milk Whole

- Sift flour and baking powder in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Pre heat oven at 180 degree C for 10-12 mins.
- In a microwave safe bowl add chocolate compound pieces and melt at high for 50 sec. Give a quick stir in between.
- Add melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder and melted chocolate with the flour mix and mix well. You will notice a crumble texture formed.
- Add milk slowly and softly mix to make smooth & soft dough.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Pinch a lemon sized ball and flatten to shape a cookie. Add few chocolate chips on top.
- Make more cookies out of the dough and place them on the lined sheet keeping 1 inch distance.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 mins.
- Transfer them on a wire rack and let them cool. Initially they might look soft but once the cookies cool, they will become crisp.
- Store them in air tight jar for longer use.
