Desi Chana Masala

Ramadan approaching and to all those who haven’t yet decided the menu for their everyday iftaar parties , here is the quintessential dish which is commonly made at every Muslim homes during these 30 days of fasting.

Masala Chana, soaked , boiled and later sauteed with indian spices gives a perfect taste and flavor and makes the dish a perfect Iftaar option during Ramadan.

Instructions
  1. Soak black gram for 3-4 hours
  2. Boil the chana with ginger and some salt
  3. Heat the oil in a pan add cumin,onion and green chillies saute' them.
  4. Add boiled chana in the pan
  5. Add chat masala
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped onion.
