Lassi is a proper traditional yoghurt based drink. It is a blend of yoghurt, water, spices, dry fruits and sometimes tropical fruits. In summers the most frequently made drink at my place is Mango Lassi. Another yoghurt based thin savory drink commonly made in India is Chaas. Lassi is a sweeter and a thicker version which can be relished by adding various flavors to it. Sweet Lassi is one of the drinks me and my family relish not only in summer but always. I am not much of an aristocratic person…i loved to stick to my roots, the roots of India that defines my taste, my culture and my food. The Dhaba moves wherever a highway goes.” The first Dhaba was probably established soon after the linking of the cities of India by highways (national, state and village roads). Here falls a holiday again…! My cooking took a fancy turn again to please my son amd make his holiday worth. Presenting Paneer Malai Tikka with Cream Dip , Sauce , lil salad and accompanied by Jeweled Dark Chocolate Cake and Hot Chocolate Drink. Normally the Paneer Tikka is grilled in microwave but sometime i found that after grilling the tikkas use to get tight. So this time i opted to shallow roast them in a non stick tawa. The outer crust became crisp and the softness of the paneer inside kept intact.
